The Learning Center Division of Household Inspection Team (HIT) is recognized by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (Division of Banks and Real Estate) as an Approved School.
The HIT Learning Center is located in the HIT Chicago headquarters building at 2352 North Clybourn, Chicago, IL 60614 (Get Directions) Lecture Center at HIT Headquarters.
Course 1 - “Home System Identification” – 3 Hour Elective Curriculum Continuing Education Course for Realtors and Real Estate Brokers.
This course addresses the construction and systems of residential properties:
- Roof Types
- Wall Compositions
- Windows
- Insulation and Ventilation
- Plumbing Systems
- Electrical Systems
- Basements & Foundations
- Heating Systems
- Cooling Systems
The Home System Identification course is designed to provide Realtors and Real Estate Brokers with an overview and practical education of the above subject matter.
This will enable them to provide a higher level of service to their clients by making them aware of how houses in which they are interested are put together, their structure, systems, etc.
It will effectively illustrate that the Realtor/Broker is knowledgeable beyond what is conveyed in average listing documents.
The HIT Learning Center is equipped with state-of-the-art working models and cut-away cross-sectional material examples to enhance the educational experience.
Graduates of the Home System Identification Course receive a 3 Hour Elective Curriculum Credit toward the Illinois State continuing education requirements for license re-qualification. All attendees must bring a valid photo ID and be in possession of their Illinois Real Estate License number.
The Home System Identification Course commences at 10.00AM and attendees should allow 3 hours for the class and an additional 30 Minutes for the examination. Course Schedule.
